Q: Can I buy a gift certificate/class package for somebody else?

Yes you can! Gift certificates can be purchased on our website under “Pricing”. If you have a specific request please reach out to us. Please note, whomever you’re purchasing for would need to create their own account prior to your purchase or already have their own account. Each individual needs to have their own profile, and sign waivers for liability & health and safety reasons. Please contact our team at contact@somapilates.studio for more details.

Q: Do you offer private one-on-one classes?

Yes! Please reach out to our team at contact@somapilates.studio for more information, we will be able to confirm the dates, times, and instructors that we have available.

Membership and Registration

Q: What is the minimum age requirement to take a class?

For health, safety, and liability reasons, the minimum age to participate in a class is 18 years old.

Q: How do I register for classes?

Registration can be completed online or through our mobile app. Please ensure that all waivers and intake forms are completed before attending your first class. For your health and safety you will not be permitted to participate in class if we have not received your signed waiver.

Q: Can I sign-up to any class of my choice?

Your first reformers class in the studio MUST be the Beginners class. We recognize that you may have reformers experience, however not all reformers are the the same and we want to ensure that all of our clients feel safe and comfortable in class. Once you have taken a Beginners class, you can attend all other advanced reformers classes. For mat pilates classes, you can take all levels upon sign-up.

Q: How does the Waitlist work?

When a class is full, you can join our waitlist. If someone drops out of the class, you will be added into the class and notified via email or text. You can be added in the class up until 2 hours before the class begins. If you do not receive confirmation that you have made it off the waitlist, this means you did not make it into the class. If you know you will no longer be able to attend the class but are still on the waitlist it is important that you remove yourself from the waitlist as the system will charge you a late cancellation fee if you make it off the waitlist within 12 hours before a class and cancel.

Q: Can I use my membership/credits at multiple locations?

Yes, you can use your membership and credits at either location.

Q: When do packages expire?

All purchased packages have a 12-month expiration period from the date of purchase.

Q: When does my membership start?

Memberships begin on the date of your first booked class, not the date of purchase. For example, if you purchase your membership on January 1st and book your first class for January 2nd, your membership would be effective as of January 2nd.

Q: Am I able to freeze my membership?

Yes, you are able to freeze your membership for up to 30 days. For freezes greater than 30 days, there is a $10/month freeze charge. For more information and details on how to proceed please contact our team at contact@somapilates.studio

Q: How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, please contact our team at contact@somapilates.studio , please note that we require 48 hours notice from the expiration date of your membership to process the cancellation. Please note that our membership rates are subject to change and if were to cancel your membership and repurchase at a later date, you would be subject to the new rates.

Q: Can I switch my membership type (Unlimited-Mat, Unlimited-Reformer, Unlimited-Reformer+Mat) ?

Yes! Please reach out to our team at contact@somapilates.studio for more information, we will be able to confirm the details and how to proceed with the change in type of membership.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Q: What is your class cancellation policy?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for all classes.

Q: What happens if I cancel within 12 hours of my class?

● Monthly Membership Holders: If you cancel within the 12-hour window, a $10 fee will be applied. If canceled before the 12 hours, there is no fee.

● Class Package Holders: If you cancel within the 12-hour window, the class will be deducted from your package. If canceled before the 12 hours, the class will be credited back to your account.

Q: What if I don't show up for my class?

●Monthly Membership Holders: A $20 fee will be charged for no-shows.

● Class Package Holders: A $20 fee will be charged for no-shows.

Q: Can classes be canceled due to low attendance?

Yes, classes will be canceled if there are fewer than 3 people signed up four hours before the class begins. If a class is being cancelled, you will be notified via email 4 hours prior to the class. Early morning classes will be canceled by 9 PM the night before.

Payment and Billing

Q: How can I pay for classes?

All classes and packages must be prepaid online or through our app using Visa, Mastercard, or Debit.

Q: Can I purchase classes and merchandise in the studio?

Yes, packages for future classes and merchandise can be purchased in-store

Refund and Return Policies

Q: Are there any refunds or exchanges?

All sales and services are final and non-refundable or exchangeable.

Q: Can I return or exchange merchandise?

Merchandise can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of purchase, provided it is unused and has the original tags.

Q: Can I transfer credits to my friend/family?

No, credits can not be transferred between accounts. If you would like to purchase a class for someone,

Class And Studio Rules

Q: What time should I arrive for class?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. We have a 5-minute late grace period, after which the door will be locked and you will not be able to join the class and incur a $20 no-show fee.

Q: Can the instructor change before class?

Yes, please note that instructors may change prior to the class.

Q: What should I wear and bring to class?

Grip socks are mandatory, and you should wear something comfortable that allows for free movement. Water bottles are encouraged and sweat towels are available in the studio.

Health and Safety

Q: Are there any specific classes for beginners?

Yes, we offer Beginners classes which all new members to the studio must attend prior to progressing to more advanced classes.

Q: What should I do if I have a medical condition or injury?

Please inform the instructor or staff of any medical conditions or injuries before the class and consult your doctor before attending classes

Q: Can I attend classes if I’m pregnant, injured, or ill?

While Pilates can benefit everyone, we advise consulting with your doctor if you are pregnant, injured, or ill before attending classes
